Reality MagiQ, the developer of the first person sci-fi survival game Dysterra has announced another open beta test.
The playtest launches on May 3 at 7 PM PDT and runs for 2 weeks until May 17.
No additional details have been announced yet as developers are going to provide more details closer to the test release.
Here’s what is known based on the patch notes revealed in the last few months.
It is expected that the next beta test will bring character balancing changes. This includes Stamina and Hydration system removal and food auto-consumption update for a better combat experience and player convenience. It looks like the game is leaning more towards combat action by reducing survival elements.
Housing system improvements will allow players to better defend their bases by placing turrets on the electric gates and piling up fences. It makes bases more difficult to raid.
New Rusty Android NPC has been added to the game. It’s easy to kill and provides a good amount of materials for players who are just getting started.
Enemy AI adjustments, combat animation improvements, and the ping system for strategic team communication have also been added.
Dysterra has also revealed the reworked machine-arm skill system. You can earn skill points through looting, building, or hunting, and use them to upgrade various skills. The developers promise to add more skills in future updates.
The 1st and 2nd tier regions have been updated. You will be able to find improved structures, new enemies, and locations to explore. Just make sure you craft better equipment before entering higher-tier areas.
