It has been over two years and Grounded, the survival game where you are the size of an ant, officially enters a full release. Now you can explore the upper part of the backyard and go through the whole story and figure out why you were turned small. Just be prepared to face the newest and most challenging enemy that was added in 1.0.

Exploration

This update brings a vast new area to explore in the form of the eastern upper yard, a location with new tunnels to explore and conquer. The underside of the shed is a dark and dank place but filled with mysteries to uncover. New labs have been added to this part of the yard as well and they are filled with secrets.

A new boss has been added to Grounded called the pink orchid mantis which can be found near the shed. The mantis was a highly requested enemy to be in the game and it is finally here, it is one of the most potent enemies we have faced yet. 

The boss will not be the only new enemy walking its way into the backyard. Fight the new black widows and their smaller black widowlings as well as new types of fire ants, ticks, moths, and more.

Story

With this update, the story is now concluded. Explore the new labs and locations to discover what happened to you and find a way to get back to standard size. Old dialogue that used to be text only have now been given full voice acting making Grounded a fully voiced game.

Crafting and Building

The full release comes with a lot of new crafting recipes. multiple new armor sets three new arrow types, flares, and much more. A new weapon type can now be created which are staves. Three different variants can be made by using different candy shards you found in the game. There are new tier 3 upgrades as well as a new candy flavor called  “sour”.

For the builders over 50 new paintings have been added along with pebble paths, spikes, and an ash build set which is classified as tier 3 making it the toughest building material in the game.

New achievements, balance changes, and a lot more smaller changes were added.
