Since the rerelease of Myth of Empires, we have seen many veterans and beginners seeking a new adventure, and now, the developers have revealed that players will be able to explore four new civilizations, including many other additions to the game.
One of the most common issues that players experience when playing a newly released game is queuing lines to get into a game or servers not being able to handle the influx of players, and the official servers also had that same fate. To alleviate some of these hurdles, Angela Games is opening new servers as well as working on latency issues and other optimizations to enhance gameplay.
Chinese culture may not appeal to everyone, and if you fall into this category, you’ll be pleased to know that the developers are currently working on two more cultures to be introduced to the game in 2024, complete with new weapons, armor, and buildings specific to these cultures. The first two to be released will be Greece and Persia, followed by Rome and Egypt, although no release date has been announced yet.

Tired of everyone looking similar? Well, get prepared. As more hairstyles as well as facial features are planned, along with NPCs from new civilizations having English voiceovers. NPC’s will also be getting some more expressive emotions, and we will be able to have them search out work that is more suited to their skills and will add to the immersion of the game.
Size isn’t everything, but it doesn’t hurt either, as the team is working on a single-season server that will be able to accommodate 600–1000 active players and who will be able to participate in weeklong faction-based PVP events featuring some never-before-seen strategies and tactics.
Think you’re the best warrior? Now you will be able to see that in the Warrior Arenas, where participants will have their warrior data uploaded to the cloud and ranked. The jousting field is also going to get expanded, providing up to 600 players at once the joys of experiencing brutal combat against the backdrop of a massive battlefield.
Horses are definitely the preferred method of travel in Myth of Empires, and breeding them is important to make the best mount you can. The animal breeding system is going to get improved with more features, and the continued addition of new legendary creatures along with saddles to ride them could challenge the horses’ dominance while enriching exploration and combat.

Maybe land isn’t your preferred method of travel. Rest easy as more water and air based vehicles are in the works, and players will be able to build structures on them, allowing the establishment of water and air fortresses to emerge. This also includes underwater POIs with sunken treasures that will be added to the Dongzhou map. However, these riches don’t come easy, as players will have to fend off ferocious creatures while holding their breath.
An attentive farmer is a prosperous farmer, as they say. The farming system is going to be upgraded, allowing fields that are tended regularly to have increased yields, while less-tended fields may fail to yield anything at all.
Some players have grumbled that the PVE objectives are a bit unclear, so they will be working on clarifying them. AI for Bosses is going to get an upgrade, making those battles challenging yet rewarding. Battlefield modifiers are also coming, which will bring changes to the battlefield such as increased bow damage, cumbersome heavy armor, etc., so be sure you are prepared for the upcoming battle.
And lastly, foundations and ceilings are going to be more than just an item to be placed; they will come with some functionality, like being able to build raised farm beds and raise fish.
With so many changes coming up, do you think that Myth of Empires will be able to knock Conan Exiles from the top of the list? Let me know in the comments below.
