Merge Games has revealed the release date of the ant-sized survival game Smalland, including a new logo and changes to the game’s name.
What to expect
You are the size of an ant and must survive harsh land. Due to your small size, things you ignore in everyday life become real obstacles. Puddles feel like lakes, trees like skyscrapers, and cracks in the ground like the Grand Canyon.
The game will have a variety of dungeons and NPCs that will help you uncover the history of the mysterious world.
You will be able to tame creatures, form grasshoppers that you can use to jump around to a damselfly to fly around with.
Crafting will play a big part in your survival. You can craft gear with different resistances and even wings to glide with.
Do you enjoy building bases? Build a base where you want, either on the ground or high up in a tree. There are multiple materials to use from leaves or twigs to stones.
Smalland will also have a weather system and changing seasons.
Due to your size many of the enemies in the game will be bugs such as spiders, wasps, and cockroaches, and more.
You will be able to play Smalland solo or with up to ten players on PvE or PvP servers.

Smalland: Survive the Wilds will be released in early access on the 29th of March this year on both Steam and Epic Games.
Merge Games plans to keep the game in early access for at least 6 months depending on the feedback they receive.
