V Rising Announces Exciting 1.0 Launch Details

Are you ready for the ultimate challenge?

Stunlock Studio came out of nowhere and revealed that V Rising is going to leave early access next year. While it is still time before it happens, they shared some exciting new features we can expect to see in the full release 1.0 update.

V Rising is made using an experimental engine that is still being developed. It means Stunlock Studio was able to implement features that looked like witchcraft to other developers. This helped them create the immersive world of Vardoran that we’ve grown to love. However, using this engine has also had its challenges. One of the biggest challenges has been that they couldn’t update it to a newer and more stable version, until now. The updated game engine allowed the team to pursue their goals, and V Rising’s next major update is going to be 1.0, which means the game will leave early access.

The game going into full release does not mean there won’t be any more updates, the developers assure.

Version 1.0 holds plenty of exciting new features for players. We are getting a brand new biome. This area will be found beyond the hallowed mountains. This frozen terrain will be home to unseen enemies, bosses, history, and your ultimate rival who awaits your visit.

It will be your final mission in a vampire journey, defeating the land’s top predator and taking his spot on the throne.

You have to look good when you take command, and you soon will. Cosmetics will be a new feature in V Rising. Originally scrapped because it would obscure what armor players are wearing in PVP, this was made irrelevant after they added a gear score. Yet, we won’t see cosmetic clothes until the full release.

Similar to the Gloomrot update, the game will offer new castle designs.

We can expect another magic overhaul coming in 1.0 since the developer find the current system rather boring on repeat playthroughs as you get the same spells from the same bosses every time. While they do not have a solid answer to this problem, yet they are looking to change the way you get certain abilities to make it more engaging.

V Rising is set to leave early access in the second quarter of 2024.

What would you like to see the team add before the full release of the game? Let me know in the comments.
